Starfall is a great resource for all english/language arts for students. This resource is for children who are in kindergarten, first and second grade. This website gives students the beginner and intermediate knowledge in language arts. It builds students knowledge, skill development and practice. No matter if the child is below, above or at grade level, Starfall provides help for all types of learners (interpersonal, interpersonal, visual, audio, ect). Students can do the activities individually, as a group, whole class or in a computer lab. In this website students can start from learning their abc's to learning how to read in a enjoyable way. In the website there is a section that is called All About Me. This section provides students with the ability to create a character by using descriptive words, reading and learning words that they use in their everyday life. This activity uses sequence in phonics, explicit phonics instruction, phonics awareness, decoding skills, reading comprehension and techniques to use while reading. This section also provides tasks and assessment for parents and teachers. This is a website I would use this website in my future classroom because it can be done as a whole class and students will be participating. This website would absolutely engage future students. This resource is fun, students will get to know about themselves, how to read, write, use technology and so much more. The best part is this website is based on all content standards.

This website is a great resource for all mathematic teachers. It provides great insight, valuable information and diverse resources for teachers. It will benefit students because they will see math as something fun and enjoyable. The overall purpose of the website is to ensure that teachers are doing their best in providing students with the highest quality of learning. Illuminations website consists of over 100 activities to do in the classroom, over 600 lesson plans, a special section for standards and over 700 math web links. As you go onto the website on your left hand side you will see the following tabs: Activities, Lessons, Standards and Web Links. If you click on the Activities tab you will see that you can either view all activities or you can select them according to specific grade levels Pre-K to 12. Once you have selected your preference you click search and a new page full of different activities will come up. Once you have selected an activity it will give you instructions and explorations on it. If you go back to the homepage and click on lessons you can either view all the lessons, view them by grades levels Pre-K to 12, view them by standards, advanced options or by combinations. You can view them however you please. For example I can choose grades 3-5, number and operations standard and algebra standard. Once I click search I can review all the lessons with the criterial that I want. If I don't like what I see, I can revise my search. If you go back to the homepage and click on the Standards tab you can view all the standards, by grade levels Pre-K to 12, or by a specific standard. If you go back to the homepage and click on the Web Links tab you can either search through web links or search them by a specific standard. Not only is it great website for teachers, but also for students. They can do diverse activities whether it is individually, with partners, as a group, whole class or computer lab situation. This is a resource that will engage my future students because the games are all technology based, the activities are fun, but at the same time educational. Overall, Illuminations website is easy to use and this is a resource I would use in my future classroom. The activities and lessons are for every grade level Pre-K to 12 and they are made aligned to standards. I won't have to hesitate whether an activity or lesson is according to standards anymore or if it's fun.

This resource is for english- language arts students who are in kindergarten, first, second and third grade. The content areas fulfilled are spelling, reading and understanding words. for this resource are This website provides children with activities that are simple to use that can help them build their vocabulary, but at the same time in a fun and enjoyable way. In the the beginner exercises students hear one of the "Sight Words." Then they are asked to spell the word using the letter provided. When students answer the word correctly, they move to the next word. The student has the get the word correctly in order to move on. No matter if the child is below, above or at grade level, each activity provides help in order for the child to succeed. Students can do the activities individually, as a group, whole class or in a computer lab. I would not use this resource in my future classroom for the reason being that I don't think it teaches students a great form of assessment as well as engaging. This resource may engage students because it's on the computer, but at the same time I don't because it's not as fun as other games from other websites. I'm neutral about this resource.
